Did you know that pretzels have been around for approximately thirteen hundred and ninety years? They are possibly the world's oldest snack food. Pretzels can be soft, hard, chocolate covered or salted, but it is safe to say that almost everybody enjoys eating a pretzel. Pretzels will be the topic to explore as we begin this school year. CLUEsters will embark on this get-acquainted M.E.S.S. (Mind Explosive Super Study), by munching through the history of pretzels, to discover its humble beginnings. Of course, our CLUE strategies will be utilized to further develop this topic and increase higher level thinking skills. It will definitely stretch their minds, stimulate their creative and critical thinking, and challenge their ideas to multiply. This topic is sure to be a delicious treat!
